PURE TIN • ANTIQUE SILVER • 1.5 IN PENDANT

Courage, Worn Daily

A rectangular medal with St. Michael mid-battle on one face and the St. Benedict medal on the other. Cast in pure tin, finished in antique silver, with the recessed lines kept dark so every wing, sword and letter still reads across a room.

WHY IT WORKS

Two Devotions, One Medal

Most devotional medals carry a single image, and after a year of wearing it the design has flattened into a grey oval. This one is built differently: a raised battle scene on the front, a full medal on the back, and a deep relief that holds its shadows — so the pendant still looks like something worth wearing long after it stops being new.

01 / THE TWO SIDES

Front And Reverse

One side is the battle: St. Michael with his wings spread, sword raised, the shield marked QUIS UT DEUS. Turn it over and the full St. Benedict medal fills the face — the cross with C S P B in its quarters, the traditional inscriptions running around the rim, PAX at the top. Two of the most recognised Catholic symbols in one piece of metal.

02 / THE RELIEF

Depth You Can See

The image is not printed on flat metal; it is sculpted above the surface and left dark in the deeper cuts. That is what gives the pendant its antique character — the ridges catch light while the hollows around them stay in shadow, so the figure reads clearly even at arm's length, and keeps reading after years against a shirt.

03 / THE SIZE

Sits At The Collar

At 1.5 inches — 3.8 cm — the pendant is long enough to be read and small enough to disappear under a shirt collar. It sits at the top of the chest rather than swinging at the sternum, which is what makes it work as an everyday piece: visible when you want it, quiet when you do not.

04 / THE FINISH

Antique, Not Shiny

The antique silver finish is deliberately duller than polished chrome. Instead of mirror-bright metal that shows every fingerprint, the surface is soft and slightly grey, with the dark detail sitting inside the carving. Cast in pure tin, it has the heft you notice the moment you pick it up — the pendant swings like metal, not like a stamped tag.

05 / WHO WEARS IT

Under A Collar, Over A Tee

Worn over a black tee it reads as a piece of jewellery; worn under an open shirt it is a private reminder that only shows when you want it to. The matching chain and the grey metal sit easily with denim, work clothes and a jacket, which is why it tends to become the one necklace someone actually keeps on.

GET STARTED

How to Wear It

1. Unclasp the chain, drop the pendant in place and fasten it behind the neck.
2. Wear it against a shirt or a bare neck — keep perfume and body lotion off the metal.
3. Take it off before swimming or showering, and wipe it with a dry soft cloth after a hot day.
4. Store it flat in a pouch or a small box so the relief is not rubbing against other jewellery.
