Gold That Outlasts The Weather

A water-based paint loaded with fine gold powder, made to hold its shine on a gate, a railing or a picture frame long after the rainy season has passed. Stir it, brush it on, and a worn surface looks restored instead of repainted.

WHY IT WORKS

A Real Gold Look, Not Yellow Paint

Most gold paints read as yellow the moment they dry. This one carries fine gold powder suspended in nitro resin, so the surface keeps the metallic depth you see on brass — and because the base is water-based, it brushes out thin and even instead of clogging the bristles.

01 / THE FINISH

Detail Still Shows Through

The look depends on the powder staying suspended while you paint, which is why the jar is meant to be stirred rather than shaken before every coat. Brushed thin, the grain of carved wood and the ridges of a moulded frame still read through the gold — and that is what makes an old piece look restored instead of covered up.

02 / THE FORMULA

Resin, Gold Powder, Eco Solvent

Three things do the work: nitro resin for a hard film that sets smoothly, fine gold powder for the colour and the metallic depth, and an eco solvent that keeps the whole thing water-based and low in odour. Nothing in the jar needs a thinner, a hardener or a second product to make it usable.

03 / THE WEATHER

Rain, Sun And A Gate That Sits Outside

A gate or a balcony railing takes the worst of it: sun all morning, rain in the afternoon, salt in the air if you are near the coast. The finish is built for that cycle, so the gold keeps its colour through the seasons instead of going chalky and flaking off by the second year.

04 / THE SURFACES

Metal, Wood, Stone, Plaster

The same jar covers a steel gate, a timber chair, a carved picture frame, a concrete wall and a plaster ornament. Each surface wants its own preparation — rust knocked back on metal, dust wiped off plaster, a light sand on old varnish — but once the surface is sound, the paint behaves the same way on all of them.

05 / THE APPLICATION

A Brush In The Box, Nothing Else To Buy

Each jar comes with a wooden-handled brush that fits the work: narrow enough for the edge of a frame, wide enough to cover a rail in a few passes. Two thin coats a short while apart read better than one heavy coat that sags along the bottom edge and leaves a drip to sand back.

GET STARTED

How to Use

1. Clean the surface and let it dry completely — wipe off dust and grease, and take any loose rust or flaking paint back to a sound edge.
2. Stir the jar from the bottom up until the gold powder is evenly suspended, then load the brush lightly. Stir again if you stop for a while.
3. Brush on a thin, even coat and work it into carved detail instead of flooding it. Let it set, then apply a second thin coat.
