Start At 45, Finish At 90

Hold the drill at about 45 degrees to cut a small starting groove. Then bring it upright to 90 degrees and keep light pressure, rocking gently in a small circle to clear the dust.

How to Use

1. Mark the hole, fit the bit in the chuck and set the drill to normal rotation, not hammer.
2. Start at about 45 degrees to cut a small groove, then bring the drill upright.
3. Use light pressure and a gentle circular motion to clear the debris.
4. Pause on longer holes so the tip can cool, then finish the hole.
5. Wear eye protection, and keep the bit straight as it breaks through.
